I’m Amanda Hignett, a heart‑centred sound practitioner and facilitator devoted to creating spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, soften into stillness, and experience the deeper currents of soul and spirit that so often get lost in everyday life.

My path began long before sound healing. I first trained in psychology, fascinated by how we think, feel, and make meaning. That foundation later led me into counselling, where I learned the profound importance of safety, presence, and compassionate listening. These early chapters shaped the way I hold space today: with gentleness, clarity, and deep respect for each person’s inner world.

A pivotal moment in my journey came through a profound awakening experience: a direct, unmistakable connection with the divine love of the universe. It was a moment that changed everything — a remembering, a homecoming, and a call to share this sense of boundless love and soul‑connection with others. This experience continues to guide my work and is at the heart of why Beacons of Light exists.

Supporting the Return to Wholeness

As a qualified gong practitioner, I now offer sound experiences that support nervous‑system regulation, deep rest, and emotional release. But more than that, my work is about helping people reconnect with the light within themselves — the part that is wise, whole, and quietly radiant.

While Celtic wisdom and nature‑based traditions are not part of my current offerings, they remain important threads in my life and subtly inform the way I see and honour the world.

My Approach

My sessions are held with:

  • Heart‑centred presence, allowing you to feel safe, seen, and supported
  • A focus on soul connection, inviting you to meet yourself beneath the surface
  • A gentle, intuitive style, shaped by my background in psychology and counselling
  • Clear, compassionate aftercare, so you feel grounded and cared for beyond the session

Everything I offer is rooted in the belief that healing and awakening happen when we feel held — by sound, by community, and by the quiet wisdom within ourselves.

Why I Do This Work

I believe that every person carries a spark of light that can guide them back to wholeness. My intention is to create spaces where that light can be felt again — softly, safely, and in its own time.

Beacons of Light is my way of sharing the love, connection, and awakening that transformed my own life. It’s an invitation to pause, breathe, and remember who you truly are.
